It’s been a tough week on a personal end, lots of things being demanded from all aspects of my life, and sometimes there can be music that happens to reflect that. Bastian Bux‘s latest track “Oracle” does this with such an effortless precision that it’s been nonstop playing on my iphone over the last couple of days.
The minimal-based drum patterns and the rolling synth create a dissonance that can conjure up feelings of anxiety or ease, depending on the listener’s mood and time of day. It’s the kind of track you can expect to hear at your hometown’s notorious techno night in an abandoned warehouse. Get ready to turn the lights down low and dance your night away.
