NEWS: Norman Jay and Fabric Join List Of Panelists at Take Note London

Take Note is London’s leading informative electronic music conference highlighting emerging artists in the field. It includes special performances from new musicians making waves. Their second annual conference on Saturday 19th November has a list of panelists including the maverick artist Norman Jay (MBE), Paco Osuna, B Traits, Danny Daze and Toddla T.

Andy Blackett the prolific owner of Fabric nightclub and Fiona Measham, Founder of groundbreaking drug testing project The Loop, are both keynote speakers alongside Alan Miller and Tom van Berckel of Night Time Industries Association in a special panel on the UK’s the erratically evolving nightclub industry in London, and the very real looming threat of its disintegration.

Additional speakers now include Steven Braines (Artist Manager, Maya Jane Coles), Rowan Carnihan (Amy Winehouse Foundation), journalist and manager Ralph Moore, Becky Tong of Juicebox FM, Adrian Hughes of !K7 Records, Ashley Howard at PRS for Music, Sam Potts (Head of Radio at Columbia Records) and Sebastian Weingartshofer of MTA management.

There will be also two live sets on the day from Felix Faire and Elias. Felix Faire is infamous for his audio-visual work which has been shown at the Royal Academy of Art, Somerset House, Sonar+D, Moogfest, the V&A and TEDx amongst others. Fascinated by the inherent connections we have between our different senses, his new live audio-visual performance has been developed using the Seaboard RISE to create real time visual music. Elias has a convergent style that brings new life to techno and his versatile show is a sonic journey into his range of influences.

Bill Brewster will also host the second in his special series of events in association with Take Note at Second Home on Tuesday 8th November with Terry Francis and Fabio looking at current club trends in the capital.
