Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross score documentary for The New York Times

Nine Inch Nails’ frontman Trent Reznor, along with companion composer and now fellow-bandmate Atticus Ross are said to provide a soundtrack to The New York Times’ upcoming four-part documentary-series titled The Fourth Estate, directed and produced by Liz Garbus, and scheduled for release on May 27th 2018. The pair have worked together on music for film many times, including their unforgettable scores for films The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Social NetworkPatriots Day, and many more.

According to a press release, “The Fourth Estate examines the inner workings of The New York Times during President Donald J. Trump’s first year in office.”

The Fourth Estate premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 28. It hits Showtime on Sunday, May 27 at 7:30 pm. Eastern.
