Acclaimed American DJ and record label boss Claude VonStroke has just launched his new radio show on Beats 1, which will highlight the antics of his label, Dirtybird Records‘ Dirtybird Campout Festival and feature exclusive guest mixes from festival headliners. This first episode was aired this past Saturday and features Steve Darko and Christian Martin, plus a mix from Jesse Perez – listen to it here.
The Dirtybird Campout Festival is described as, “a summer camp for adults. A vacation from the daily grind, where you can transport yourself back to the most carefree days of your childhood. There’s games & sports. Swimming. Arts & crafts. Lifelong friends. Cool counselors,” and takes place on the West Coast of the US, October 5-7. Claude VonStroke explains that, on top of exclusive DJ sets from well-known DJs, the new Dirtybird radio show on Beats 1 will also be featuring kooky unknown characters from the festival and other weird and wonderful festival guests.
