ODESZA just shared a brand new remix by Kaskade from their fan favourite single ‘Falls’, taken from their Grammy nominated album ‘A Moment Apart’, released last year via Counter Records.
ODESZA has seen a meteoric rise in their success ever since they first emerged on the scene with their highly acclaimed debut album, ‘In Return’, in 2014. Since then they’ve released a Grammy nominated album ‘A Moment Apart’ in 2017 which has been streamed more than 300 million times to date and took them to the headlining slot at Coachella 2017.
Their most recent single ‘Loyal’ was used by Apple to launch their latest iPhone and Apple Watch product lines, was featured as Zane Lowe’s World Record, and saw support from the likes of NME, Billboard, The Line of Best Fit, Clash and many more.
It’s no secret that ODESZA is at the top of their game, so it’s clear why they enrolled one of the biggest electronic artists of the moment for this standout track’s remix; Kaskade. Featuring vocals from Sasha Sloan, ‘Falls’ is an emotional track which has since become a fan favourite from ODESZA’s ‘A Moment Apart’ album. Kaskade’s version doesn’t transform the song too much, yet it adds a layer of depth to an already profound track by adding subtle fingersnap percussion. The chorus grows in size by Kaskade’s added horn-like synths which adds a textured groove for listeners to move along to. Another stellar addition to a catalogue of fantastic ODESZA remixes, Kaskade’s version of ‘Falls’ is bound to stand the test of time.
