Joining a number of artists in the call for action against rapid global environmental degradation, experimental musician Little Saint has released a song as a 24/7 Youtube Livestream in aid of Extinction Rebellion.
‘ON A LINE‘ took more than 2 years to complete and features 10 versions of the song accompanied by 10 videos that are each 10 minutes and 10 seconds long. It is the first song ever to be released as a 24/7 Livestream on Youtube.
“When I see the bravery and strength in the men, woman and children who are standing up for this cause it truly inspires me to put my flag in the sand and show where I stand on the matter. My opinion is that as creators it’s important to inspire positive change that works towards improving our planet and the society which we live in and that’s why all proceeds of this body of work go to ‘Extinction Rebellion‘” – Little Saint
Having already received support from the likes of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke who, after being hacked and threatened with a leak of previously unreleased Radiohead material, decided to make the entire archive downloadable with all proceeds going to the controversial activist group.
