Le Couleur are kicking off 2022 with a bang as they release a deluxe edition of the Concorde LP and embark on a new tour around the UK. The band will soon be arriving in England for a bumper to bumper show, with the first performance starting next Wednesday at The Castle Hotel, Manchester. The tour will round off its European leg in Paris before Le Couleur return to their home base of Canada for a few final live performances.
Within the Concorde Deluxe LP, listeners will be able to find the previously unheard ‘Excellence Europe – Express’ and ‘Témoin sur le tarmac’ as well as several remixes that transcend expectations. Whether you’re entering the world of disco, wave or simply pure electronic, you’ll find a little something for everyone within. The original album Concorde claimed its name from the legendary Franco-British aeroplane from 1965, nicknamed the “beautiful white bird” for its sleek and modern design. ‘Excellence Europe – Express’ is similar to an old advertisement for the Concorde with elements of the supersonic, air-like production and vintage influences.
