Since we interviewed him, up-and-coming house producer CONFLUENCE has shared his single ‘Azul’ via the CNFLNC imprint. His progress is impressive; the French-born producer has gone from looking up to musical greats like David Guetta to performing at the celebration of Eurostar’s 25th anniversary at the Savoy Hotel in London.

With effortless skill, CONFLUENCE has composed a single that is worth taking a close listen to. Subtle percussive accents shift around in the background, while harmonious chords reach for the sun, sprouting from stereo fields of distortion and grit. Teaming with life, the record is a rush of foaming oscillations, and we were caught in its heavy tides.
The central vocal sample is a highlight of the track, despite scarcely coming into play. But when it does, it shifts our attention, distracting us from the low end for a brief moment. The arrangement grabs us by the scruffs of our necks and drops us into a bottomless expanse of raw Melodic Techno.
