Like the King of Pop, he is all about giving. Putting power behind his voice, he captures the feel of the festive blues, reminiscing over love and loss to bring hope to forlorn fans.

‘This Christmas’ plays tricks on the ear. The instrumental is classically Christmas: bells jingle and major chords set a happy mood. Don’t be fooled. Cimo’s lyrics paint an opposing picture, telling of regret and sadness. The juxtaposition is stark yet effective; we are made to experience the holiday from the viewpoint of a heartbroken ex-lover.

Having been the subject of articles by the likes of NOTION Magazine and CLASH Magazine, the LA-based musician presents an impressive set of accolades: he has contributed to his fair share of multi-platinum records, a list of co-written hits that includes the Double Platinum record ‘Mooie Dag’, with Jayh, as well as ‘Sex’, with Cheat Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam, to name a couple.
