From a dance floor perspective, Guy’s unearthly DJ mixes have helped propel his prominence globally. Guy has the freedom to melt together melodies from all genres thanks to his production prowess and masterful touch with Ableton’s revolutionary software. There are few as proficient in the art of progressive DJ-ing as Guy J, and we can’t wait to host him on the Middle Floor.
Mees Salomé entered the world of electronic music at the age of 17. It was in 2017 that his first EP, Equivalence, got signed on Reinier Zonneveld’s imprint ‘Filth On Acid’, which received early support from the likes of Joris Voorn, Yotto, Kölsch and many more.
The success of the debut resulted in releases on other imprints like This Never Happened, Days Like Nights, Spectrum, Ton Töpferei and a full-length album on Filth On Acid, titled Big Thoughts Like Elephants.
Distant (Mees Salomé brand), which started as a monthly podcast and platform to share new music, evolved into an event with 2000+ hosting artists like Ben Böhmer and Tinlicker. Creating the perfect place to escape your surrounding, to get lost in time and space.
