Today marks the independent release of Melodic Techno producer Jickow’s 2-track EP, Escapism / Echoes. The project engenders a darker sound than his previous EP and sees Jickow, a name rapidly gaining favour in the dance music world, push back against the status quo. “I’m going against the current, I don’t need to take a step back,” said the producer.

As both an established contributor in the Brussels’ club scene and founder of the event agency Hedonism Party Crew, this French-born producer, DJ, and booking agent is no stranger to nightlife, and this reflects in his music.
As if born in a basement club, Escapism / Echoes live in the dark depths of an underground progressive sound. Where the first track, ‘Escapism’ is a white-hot blaze, ‘Echoes’ is a more even burn. Either way, both tracks sizzle with the heat of tight, rolling percussions, ever-evolving arrangements, and brazen synths. That is to say, Jickow keeps things cooking!
