Popular DJ mix, radio show, and podcast streaming service Mixcloud is now allowing users to upload original music to the platform.
The new feature, called Tracks, is aimed at producers. Tracks allows users to upload original audio between thirty seconds and fifteen minutes long. This content will appear under a separate tab on the creator’s profile next to other shows from the creator.
Mixcloud is prioritising original content with this new feature, limiting the number of bootlegs, remixes, and edits that can be uploaded using Tracks. While the new feature is still in its beta phase, you can check out a video introducing Tracks and its functions below.
