Electronic music equipment lynchpin Native Instruments has unveiled a myriad of new products and updates, including initial details for the upcoming Traktor Pro 3 software, which is scheduled to be released October 18th. Amongst the announcements is the updated Traktor Kontrol S4 DJ controller, slated for official release in November, available for $899 / €899. The goal with this updated model is to make DJing a more tactile experience and it achieves this by way of its Haptic Drive system which uses motorized spinning wheels that recall the experience of playing vinyl turntables and has an array of other exciting modes and settings built-in. Other features on the controller include two high-resolution color displays, stereo inputs for all four channels, new mixer effects and more durable faders.
Other releases in this exciting announcement from Native Instruments include a new line of budget keyboard controllers called the Komplete Kontrol A-Series and redesigns for the Kontrol S2 two-channel DJ controller, the Komplete Kontrol S88 keyboard controller and the Maschine Mikro.
