With over two decades of experience in the industry, award winning producer and live electronic musician Rodriguez Jr. is something of a pioneering force in the melodic techno spectrum, though you don’t get the sense that the years have weighed him down in any way. The calm, meditative quality of his voice does little to hide the ecstatic way music makes him feel. Having recently launched his own label Feathers & Bones, after all this time, he’s as excited and inspired as ever. Ahead of his set at Timeless Festival (tickets HERE) in Cape Town, a city he has somewhat of an ongoing affair with, we caught up with the visionary artist to learn more about his recent work, including a delicious remix of Darque’s Yonke for Kunye Records.
