Experimental producer and drummer JBXDR is gearing up to share his latest single ‘Soul Fool ft. The Josh Craig’ via Springstoff. The track is lifted off of his upcoming EP ‘No 2’ which will be released on the 18th of October.
Currently the Managing and Artistic Director of a non-profit organization called Papenwohld gGmbH, JBXDR has previously received support from major publications such as Resident Advisor, Clash Magazine and Son Of Marketing. The Josh Craig is a singer, songwriter, producer, DJ & visual artist currently located in Brooklyn, NY.
The pair are a good fit as JBXDR lays out the jagged electronic backing that compliments The Josh Craig’s smooth voice. The atmospheric and glistening instrumentals provide a backdrop for the single, ensuring the complexity that is guaranteed with JBXDR’s work.
Reflecting on ‘Soul Fool ft. The Josh Craig’, JBXDR explains his personal vision for the track: “A gorgeous R&B influenced piece of musical cake – warm and embracing like honey. The vocals add a tinge of longing and an emotional three-dimensionality to the mix. The track itself highlights my understanding and maybe even manifests my vision on keeping a motif and its realm interesting and flowing throughout its different universes.”
