CAEZAR turns to Austrian duo Wild Culture for a remix of their track ‘Hold On’, premiering right here with The Playground on Friday 10 May, as part of their upcoming HAIL!’ The Remixes EP set to drop soon.
Wild Culture has been called Austria’s answer to David Guetta and seems to be living up to that by raking in over 60 million plays across streaming platforms while gaining support from Majestic Casual, Mr Deep Sense, TVG, Mr Revillz, Selected, La Belle Musique and Get the Sound. They’ve released music with under Kittball, Sony, Ultra Records, Warner Records, Spinnin Records, Armada Records, Big Beat and BMG.
The remix is a synth slingshgot right to your heart with rolling drums and deep warped basslines that take the track to a deeper level. Still keeping a focus set on the heartfelt lyrics of the original, the remix takes nothing away but rather puts a more emotional spin on it with a bit of an ‘80s twist that makes the track feel almost live and organic.
Speaking of the track Wild Culture said, “It was cool to work with the vocals from ‘Caezar – ‘Hold On’ and give the original track some back to the future 80s vibes, bouncy electronic elements and our own samples which we recorded in the Austrian mountains.”
